114. be there at 8:25 ready to march. We have been hired to do
this one.

Thursday, June 12th Navy Day
in East Greenwich, starts 1900 hrs,
a KG
Militia gig (parade uniform) celebrates the legislative
enactment (the RI Colonial Assembly was meeting at the old Kent County
Courthouse then) creating the Rhode Island Navy, which served as the
foundation of the Continental Navy, which was the forerunner of the U.
S. Navy. There is a parade starting at the corner of Main and Union
Streets, going to ceremonies at the old Kent County Court House, then
ending at the Varnum Armory, where pizza will be served.

Sept. Brigade of Am. Rev. weekend at Fort Adams, Newport
August 22-24 The Heritage Park in Fall River has moved their show and encampment to avoid conflicts in June. That was nice of them. They were inviting the troops last year at Fort Taber. We'll see what the vacation schedule does to us and try to support them.
